Hello my name is Sara

From a young age, I was captivated by the magic of film and television, and at just 14, I took my first steps into the industry as a Runner. By 15, I was on location in Casablanca for a feature film. My journey has been defined by a passion for storytelling, a commitment to ethical filmmaking, and a drive to create impactful, thought-provoking content.

My Story

I trained in acting at renowned performing arts schools, which provided me with a deep understanding of performance and narrative. However, my passion extended beyond acting—I wanted to shape the stories themselves. This led me into producing, where I could combine my creative vision with logistical expertise.

As a freelance producer, I have worked across film, television, and branded content, collaborating with diverse creatives and production teams. My focus has always been on crafting meaningful narratives that challenge societal stigmas and spark important conversations.

As a freelance producer, I have most recently worked on:

  • An Imperfect Cadence – Written and directed by Nathan Haines. Starring Louisa Connolly-Burnham and Jennifer Preston. Currently in festival circuit.

  • The Sunshine Murders (Channel 5/Paramount+/Real One) – Starring Marina Sirtis (Star Trek), Peter Andre, and Stephanie Beacham (Dynasty), where I served as UK Producer. Notably, Richlas Productions' actor members were cast in these projects, which will be coming to your screens in 2025.

2020

In 2020, I founded Richlas Productions, a company dedicated to bold, socially conscious storytelling. The name pays tribute to my late grandfathers—Richard Feltham, a passionate photographer, and Douglas Wilkins, a senior sound engineer at ITN. Both inspired my love for film and television and shaped my creative perspective.

As an award-nominated filmmaker and BAFTA Connect member, I have built Richlas Productions into a platform for compelling, issue-driven stories. Our films address critical topics such as mental health, sexual assault, violence against women, and bullying, using storytelling as a tool for change.

Richlas Productions has gained international recognition, with films showcased across three continents and featured on streaming platforms such as Roku Shorts Daily, Lift-Off Online Network, and FilmDoo.

Recent projects include:

  • I Am An Actor (2020) - Premiered at Berlin Lift Off Film Festival and is currently streaming on Filmdoo in the UK.

  • In Her Shoes (2023) – Premiered at the Marina del Rey Film Festival and has streaming on Roku Shorts Daily in the US.

Richlas Productions has also collaborated with major brands such as Lottie London, reinforcing our commitment to industry partnerships and innovation.

Championing Women & Diversity

At Richlas Productions, we are dedicated to empowering women both on and off screen. We strive to tell female-led stories that are raw, complex, and inspiring while ensuring women take on key creative roles behind the camera.

In addition, we prioritise sustainability, inclusivity, and transparency, advocating for a more equitable industry that nurtures emerging talent and fosters meaningful collaborations.

Pushing Boundaries in Film & Television

Richlas Productions is currently developing a feature film called Savasana, in association with I Tigress and Twentynine Palms Entertainment. This murder mystery marks an exciting new chapter for the company, blending gripping storytelling with our commitment to socially conscious, commercial narratives.

As Richlas Productions continues to grow, our focus remains on pushing creative boundaries, amplifying underrepresented voices, and making a lasting impact on the industry. Stay tuned for upcoming projects and new ventures that continue our mission of storytelling with purpose.
